BE STILL………

In the bible, it says, “Be still and know that I am God”  . . .by the way, I am a firm believer that all religions have a great message, so whatever your beliefs are, please read on.

“Be still and know” what a powerful message. Now it obviously doesn’t mean don’t do anything, don’t just sit and wait for things, but rather be patient, trust that the work and effort you are putting in is not going unnoticed.  Be still, do the footwork and then be still.   Allow your inner self talk, that constant chatter in your head to quiet down,  let the thoughts drift off without taking a hold, do whatever you have to do to come in to this moment, and stop thinking and doing constantly.

Do what you know is necessary, then be still.  If you’re trying to loose weight know that the training and nutrition that you’re already doing, are working, and if you are stuck in a bad place mentally, trust (be still) that everything will be ok.  Deep breathing is a great way to let go of the negative self talk, or the constant need to do something, and you will find you become peaceful, present, and ultimately more alert and energized.

Things are ever changing, nothing stays as it is, so you can trust that if you a do what you know you need to do, then all will be ok.  For my wonderful 9 clients on “A Year To Save My Life” in the UK and anyone who reads this, try to quiet your weary minds and know that things will be ok, as long as you are doing your best on any given day.

Be Well,

Jessie

Thank you Scott for inspiring this post
